Cathleen’s interview
What made you want to start A Wellness Revolution?
It was actually a very gradual process. My life experience has taught me that being well or healthy is not dependent on any one thing. As I began learning about holistic healing and what that really means, it became increasingly clear to me that the concept of bio-individuality is incredibly powerful.
When I was younger, I had this vision of an holistic health centre, however, this seems to have evolved into more of a virtual wellness centre… and this simply took time.
My intention has always been to help people find their version of wellness but through my journey, I realised that this can be very complex. There are many different facets that play a role. Many different people with different skills are often necessary and the best way to combine all of these important aspects together was to create a way of connecting them all as a group.
‘Why a Newsletter?‘
We (AWR) would like to have a voice that reaches people and can offer them new ideas that will hopefully resonate and appeal to them. Perhaps one issue won’t, but the subsequent one might.
Health and personal healing are all about diverse aspects of life, and people are no different. This is further reflected in the concept of ‘bio-individuality; what ‘works’ for one person, doesn’t necessarily work for their ‘neighbour’ but it’s ALL good and it’s ALL valuable.
AWR will always continue researching and a lot of our Wellness Coaches are healers and therapists in their own right and they have so many varying experiences that they can bring to the table and share with the readers.
‘Who do you hope to reach?’
You know, I think I’d have to say, the people who are ready..! I would like to reach the people who are truly ready to find holistic healing within themselves.
‘Where do you see AWR in 5 – 10 years time? What is your vision?’
All over the world..!!! Many thousands of people in all walks of life, filling up our lectures and classes because they are eager to learn and understand in what different ways they can help themselves find health and wellness in an holistic approach.
We (AWR) want people to come to us for education, training, as teachers or simply to learn whatever it is they wish to improve in their lives. We want to work internationally – and YES, all over the world..!!!
‘ Any other thoughts?’
That we begin to branch out into businesses as well and help CEO’S and employers in general to make plans for their employees… that they too can be healthier..!
